Distributor

The Distributor program allows you to sell directly Consyst SQL's range of products and services for a specific geographical sector (e.g. Spain, Ontario, California). You will be responsible for the promotion, sale and on-site installation of one or several Consyst products, as well as for first line support.

Consyst SQL provides its products with their license agreement, promotional material as well as the necessary material for the training and support of your clients. Consyst SQL also handles second line support to allow you to offer in-depth support to your customers. Finally, Consyst SQL offers the training and support services for the commercial and technical personnel, as well as support services for your staff who represents Consyst SQL and who oversees the installation and training of your clients on Consyst SQL's products.

This program is intended for:

  • distributors of other technologies (EIP, development and productivity tools), to complete their offer around key technologies (Microsoft/.NET, IBM/WebSphere, BEA/WebLogic, Netscape/iPlanet, Allaire, etc.);
  • resellers who are looking for a portable and neutral platform that leverages and integrates their clients various technologies;
  • technical solutions distributors that target medium to large-size businesses or governments;
  • companies specialized in technological migration (inter-DBMSs, inter-languages, inter-ERPs, etc.);
  • ERP manufacturers who want to facilitate the integration of their ERP with their clients' technologies;
  • firms that operate specifically in information portals.

Application conditions:

  • Belong to one of the groups for which this program is intended;
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and devote the necessary resources for the promotion of Consyst SQL's solutions:
    • at the sales and marketing level (at least one person). This person will also serve as liaison with Consyst SQL's accounts manager and will be required to provide periodical reports about current predictions, promotions and prospective clients;
    • for installation of Consyst SQL's products;
    • for first line support to its clients. This technical resource will be required to take the introduction training classes from Consyst qualified personnel;
  • Sign the Distributor agreement of Consyst SQL;
  • Provide an advance to Consyst SQL in order to cover for the following expenses:
    • Training for a maximum of 8 resources of the partner;
    • Supply and installation of the products that will be resold by the partner;
    • Technical support fees for the partner for the first year;
    • Other related fees for setting up the partnership.
  • The Distributor shall at all times make available the documentation on the products that it distributes to its clients and organize at least six times a year, alone or in collaboration with Consyst SQL, proactive promotional events around the distributed products;
  • According to the type of Distributor and its location, the Distributor might be required to keep a minimum stock of the products in order to meet promptly the needs of its clients.
  • According to the type of Distributor and its location, minimum semi-annual quotas will be required.

What Consyst SQL offers you:

  • The addition of your company's address and logo to the list of Consyst's distributors, in particular on Consyst's Web site;
  • The necessary and reasonable support for:
    • the marketing, representation and sale of Consyst SQL's solutions;
    • the first installations of Consyst SQL's products;
    • the technical support of the partner for the first year
    • the second-line support to your resource personnel on Consyst SQL's products;
  • Two (2) complete documentation kits on the products resold by the Distributor;
  • Training for a maximum of 4 technical resources;
  • Training for a maximum of 4 marketing resources;
  • Access to Consyst SQL's extranet (if necessary);
  • The following promotional material:
    • Twenty-five promotional kits (English or French);
    • PowerPoint or pdf presentation of Consyst SQL;
    • Consyst SQL's business case;
    • Demonstration of Consyst SQL's products.
    • Sale agreement for Consyst SQL's products, or else the typical clauses to add to your agreement;
    • Up-to-date price list for your region (Excel and pdf);
    • Training classes outlines on Consyst SQL's products.

In addition, in order to accelerate and consolidate the partnership agreement, Consyst SQL will provide, according to their availability, the necessary resources to you help implement the first marketing or technical actions, more precisely the personnel for:

  • the production of marketing presentations intended for the partner's customers;
  • the training of the resources of the partner's clients (additional fees);
  • the expertise on the different products and solutions of Consyst SQL (additional fees).

For the production of marketing presentations, the partner will only have to pay for the traveling, food and lodging expenses of Consyst SQL's representative. No additional fees will be charged for the time. As for training and expertise, Consyst SQL will remit the partner 25% of the client's sale price. Consyst SQL and the partner will have to agree in advance on the cost of those additional services. The partner will be at all times responsible for the expenses (traveling, food and lodging) of Consyst SQL's representative(s).

According to the business volume generated by the Distributor, the Distributor will receive large discounts on the purchase and distribution of Consyst SQL's solutions.
